After 17 months, YG Entertainment offered a glimpse of hope to many fans of the K-pop girl group 2NE1.

Since the release of the album “CRUSH” in February 2014, 2NE1, once major players in the K-pop game, have been absent from the scene as a whole. Between members’ solo activities and personal lives, the girl group has been inactive in 2015, but a Korean media outlet received good news from YG Entertainment, 2NE1’s management agency.

According to YG Entertainment, 2NE1 is positively considering releasing a new song “by next year at [the] latest.”

The report, originally published by Korea’s Star News, was shared on YG Entertainment’s official blog, YG Life.

The Star News article focused on 2NE1’s absence from the onslaught of summer comebacks from Korean girl groups, including Girls’ Generation and Wonder Girls. The group’s members are focusing on their solo careers, particularly leader CL’s preparations for a debut into the American music market and Dara’s acting career, and YG Entertainment had previously not discussed any solid comeback plans following the hiatus of one group member.

In 2014, Park Bom took a break from the spotlight after reports of a previous legal battle regarding her having family members send her drugs from the United States that are illegal in South Korea. In February, the three other members of 2NE1 were featured in the Adidas Superstar Photo Exhibition in New York but Park’s absence was noted.

Star News described 2NE1 as “still very much missed by fans” who “are longing for their return.”

lady gagaLady Gaga will be allowed to hold a second concert in Manila on Tuesday night after state censors ruled her “provocative” act was within legal bounds, a city official said.

Officials who monitored the first show on Monday found no violations of the permit terms banning nudity, blasphemy, and lewd conduct, said Antonino Calixto, mayor of Pasay City, the district where the event was held.

“Admittedly, some of the statements and choreography were provocative but the content and presentation taken all together can be considered as part of an artist’s expressions” that are protected by the constitution, he added.

“Therefore, the city government of Pasay sees no compelling or legal reason to disallow the second concert from proceeding,” Calixto said in a statement.

Up to 20,000 fans are expected to attend the American pop phenomenon’s final Manila show, the same number as were at Monday’s concert.

Conservative Christians in the Catholic-majority nation have been staging street protests daily to demand a government ban on the events, alleging some of Lady Gaga’s songs are blasphemous.

One senior church leader said her show amounted to “devil worship”.

Lady Gaga spoke out against her local critics at Monday’s concert, declaring she was “not a creature of your government” before belting out her controversial song “Judas”.

Authorities say her second gig Tuesday night be will allowed to proceed because they found no violations of the conditions of the special permit they issued for the first concert. Pasay City Mayor Antonino Calixto says Lady Gaga did not exhibit nudity or abuse religion.

Some Christian youths called for her concerts to be banned. Catholic Archbishop Ramon Arguelles warned that her fans are in danger of falling into the clutches of Satan.

The CEAP also cited the CFCFFL’s guideline for parents to “get involved” by knowing what their children are watching and why—and set boundaries.

“If you don’t raise your kid by love and communication, including setting boundaries, Mother Monster will,” it said.

Also, it urged parents to engage in healthy dialogue and not criticize all the artists their children listen to and love.

“Affirm anything positive. Then speak up and correct errors,” it said.

In the guidelines, parents were also encouraged to provide alternative options for spending their time with their children such as watching a movie together, family bonding time, or exercise.

“They need to know what the Church is saying and why. The formation of conscience is a life-long process. You cannot think for them, but you can prepare them to think for themselves, by being formed in the Christian virtues. For kids, parents can explain things and ask questions to check comprehension. For teens, they can join youth groups in the parish, as well as outreach to get them to focus on others’ needs and not themselves,” the CEAP said.

The CEAP also urged Catholics to seek out the marginalized such as the so-called “freaks,” weird, lonely, and nerds, and let them know they care for them.

Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2011

Posted: December 20, 2011 in Singers

We started this year with IU on top of the chart (with “Good Day”) and it looks like we are going to end 2011 also with IU on top, as her new song “You And I” edged out T-Ara’s “Cry Cry” to become our new No. 1 song. It is also IU’s third chart topping hit of the year, joining “Good Day” and “Story Only I Didn’t Know.” At the young age of 18, IU has already become one of the top female soloists in Korea.

Our previous two No. 1 songs are sitting at No. 2 and 3 respectively this week. T-Ara’s “Cry Cry” came close this week and lost to IU by only five points. Not far behind, Wonder Girl’s former No. 1 song “Be My Baby” is still going strong at No. 3.

There are two new songs in the top 20 this week. Right below the top three, we find Trouble Maker’s song with the same title as the group name at No. 4. Trouble Maker is a project duo formed by Beast’s Hyun Seung and 4minute’s HyunA. Broadcast companies thought their dance moves for their live performance were too sexy, so they were asked to change it, literally fulfilling their roles as “trouble maker”. This song is written by Shinsadong Tiger and Rado, who also wrote the No. 5 song, A Pink’s “My My”.

The other new entry to the top 10 this week belongs to Dynamic Duo, as the title song “Friday Night” from their 6th album Digilog landed at No. 8 this week. This album celebrates the group’s ten years in the music industry. “Friday Night” has a hardcore hip-hop melodies that fans of this genre will enjoy listening to.

We won’t have the additional segment (bonus tracks/yesterday once more/looking back at charts in the past) for this and next week’s chart issue. Also, this week’s “New Albums And Singles Preview” will also be the last issue of 2011. Our staff is busily working to bring you this year’s Soompi Gayo Award. Posted: October 25, 2011 in Singers

A singer and writer of song is Adele who writes this song for her second studio album 21. The song is also written by Ryan Tedder and produce by Jim Abbiss. Types of song are pop, soul, and timing of song is 4 minute and 10 second. This Pop song was written in key of c Minor.

he song “Turning Tables” tells about breakdown of relationship. Over there where one party wants that situation become always is in favors. In the lyrics she said that only god knows why we are fighting with each other but you always speak more. After that she said that she can’t even take breath with him.

She don’t want to continue the relationship with him and said that it’s a time to says good bye to each other and she said that she can’t give those moment back to him but it’s a time to go to turning. You didn’t give me and you are not even sorry for your work but I know that what I feels when I leave you that feeling I can’t express in word.

This is almost enough that you done with me. I have done lot of sacrifice for u but you cannot saw it. Now I am not going take you any chance to hurt me because this is a time to say good bye to each other.

Next time I will be become savior of my own life and standing on my own feet. I don’t give you any chance to hurt me because you do what you want now we should go away from each other.

By write this song Adele try to say that there are some mistake you do in your life that you can’t even know the person very well and a person whom you trust more that person chit you. This is life and this song is all about that now you have to be braver and take some lesson from this type of experience from your life. Don’t lose your hope but stand again on your own feet and get success in your life.

It charted number 63 on Billboard hot 100 and Number 60 on Canadian hot 100. It also charted number 81 in Australia and number 62 in United Kingdom single chart.

From early childhood Adele has always loved to sing, but she did not try to compose music until she was 16, when she had her first serious relationships. The affair ended tragically: the guy she loved appeared to be bisexual and left Adele for some man. Since that time all the pain and sadness she tried to express in her music.

During the first week 208,000 copies of her new album “21” have been sold . This is a record-breaking figure for the last five years. In addition, her first album called “19”, released in 2008, is still in the top ten, holding the 4th position.

Almost after the first single saw the world, Adele has received the prestigious Brit Awards as the most promising newcomer, and her album immediately hit the first lines of the national charts and was staying there for a month. Right after England Adele enslaved the hearts of Europeans.

US proved to be more difficult to impress, but after a triumphant performance at Saturday Night Live Show the country discovered a new talented singer, and at the 51st Grammy Award ceremony Adele deservedly won two gold gramophones in the categories of “Best New Artist” and “Best female pop Vocal”.

Her success is completely smashing and not only by today’s standards, but in general: a few weeks ago Adele became the first artist in history since The Beatles, who managed to get in the top 5 albums and in the top 5 singles in England as well as in America.

The second album is different from the first the same as the 21-years-old girl is different from 19 years old: it’s composed better, made smarter but in general the difference is barely significant. All her songs have the same features: they are neat, beautiful, sufficiently impassioned and very reasonable.

She has a powerful and loud voice as if she is a middle-aged woman. Composing neo-soul on ancient theme of love, she has a special style of orchestration: it can be the whole orchestra, the wind-instruments, some emotional music in the background, or just a simple guitar and pure voice.

Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyngstad

Posted: October 22, 2011 in Singers

Born in Norway in 1945, singer Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyngstad got her big break when her band, ABBA, released their first single “Waterloo” in 1974. The song topped the charts in both the U.S. and U.K., making the band a sensation.

Over the next decade they had a number of other hits, including “SOS,” “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do,” and “Mamma Mia.”

Singer. Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyngstad was born on November 15, 1945, in the small town of Ballangen in northern Norway. Her father, Alfred Haase, was a young sergeant in the German Army who arrived in Ballangen in 1943 during World War II.

Although he was already married, Haase met a pretty young Norwegian girl named Synni Lyngstad and wooed her with a bag of potatoes—a rare and valuable commodity in wartime Norway. Synni reciprocated with a gift of whale meat, and the pair struck up a relationship. Eventually Synni became pregnant, but after the war ended Haase left Norway before his daughter was born.

Lyngstad grew up believing that her father drowned when his ship back to Germany sank. But this proved to be false. In 1977, at the height of ABBA’s popularity, Lyngstad and her father were reunited in Switzerland. Their meeting, despite being cordial, did not lead to a sustained relationship.

“It would have been different if I’d been a child. But it’s difficult to get a father when you’re 32 years old,” Lyngstad explained. “I can’t really connect to him and love him the way I would have if he’d been around when I grew up.”

When Lyngstad was 18 months old, she moved with her mother and grandmother to Torshälla, Sweden, in order to escape the discrimination that children of German soldiers faced in postwar Norway, where bitterness about the Nazi occupation lasted for decades after the war. But only months after the family arrived in Sweden, Lyngstad’s mother passed away, leaving her grandmother as her sole guardian.

At 11 years old, Lyngstad made her stage debut performing for a Red Cross charity event.

Two years later, at the age of 13, she was hired as a vocalist by a local dance band. For the next eight years, Lyngstad worked as a singer for various dancehall acts around the country.

On September 3, 1967, Sweden switched its traffic pattern from driving on the left side of the road to the right; all drivers were advised to stay home except for essential travel. That same night EMI Music Sweden staged a national talent competition called New Faces.

They made an agreement to showcase the winner on live TV to celebrate the traffic switch. So that night after Lyngstad won first place, millions of Swedish households tuned in to watch Lyngstad perform live. “It’s just like a dream,” she marveled in an interview after the performance. EMI producer Olle Bergman said, “We really liked her as an artist and I thought she had all that it took to go places.”

Success With ABBA

Despite this promising start to her career, it took several years for Lyngstad to achieve commercial success. She recorded seven solo singles for EMI over the next two years, but none of them achieved much airplay. Lyngstad spent most of her time performing in cabaret shows across Sweden.

Then, in 1969, she met and fell in love with Benny Andersson, keyboardist of The Hep Stars, a popular Swedish pop group in the 1960s. Andersson had recently been working with Björn Ulvaeus, another Swedish pop star who was also happened to date a singer named Agnetha Fältskog.

In 1970, the quartet performed together for the first time in a cabaret act called Festfolk. Two years later, they released a single called “People Need Love” that became a minor hit in Sweden.

Renaming themselves ABBA, an acronym of the first letters of each of their first names (Anni-Frid, Benny, Björn, Agnetha) and also the name of a popular Swedish canned fish company, the group achieved its big break in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. ABBA entered a new single called “Waterloo,” an upbeat, disco-influenced pop track.

They won first place, and the contest catapulted “Waterloo” to No. 1 on the UK pop charts and to No. 6 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100. ABBA was on its way to becoming one of world’s biggest pop groups.

Over the next seven years, ABBA enjoyed widespread international popularity. Their self-titled

1975 album spawned such hits as “SOS,” “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do,” and “Mamma Mia,” all of which became immensely popular in Europe, Australia, and the United States.

ABBA’s next album, 1976’s Arrival, featured the singles “Money, Money, Money,” “Knowing Me, Knowing You,” and “Dancing Queen,” ABBA’s only song to reach No. 1 in the United States.

The Album (1977) featured “Take a Chance On Me,

” another iconic international hit. Subsequent albums Voulez-Vous (1979), Super Trouper (1979), and The Visitors (1981) were all also successful worldwide. During these years, ABBA toured the United States, Europe, Australia, and Asia, and were greeted by throngs of fans everywhere they went.

The two couples that comprised ABBA, Ulvaeus and Fältskog and Andersson and Lyngstad, married in 1971 and 1978 respectively. (Lyngstad had been married previously to Ragnar Fredriksson for much of the 1960s.) But when Lyngstad and Andersson announced their divorce in 1981, their strained relationship started to affect their music.

They stopped performing together entirely by the end of 1982.

After ABBA

In the aftermath of ABBA’s demise, Lyngstad briefly enjoyed a successful solo career, scoring international hits with her albums Something’s Going On (1982) and Shine (1984). However, she has recorded only one album since then, a 1996 Swedish-language album that translates into English as Deep Breaths.

In 1992, Lyngstad married German Prince Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen, and they remained married until he passed away in 1999. In recent years, she has campaigned for environmental causes throughout Europe.

Although nearly a quarter-century has passed since Lyngstad and ABBA dominated the international music scene, their music remains immensely popular.

The 1999 musical Mamma Mia!, featuring exclusively ABBA music, has sold more than 42 million tickets worldwide. Asked to account for ABBA’s enduring popularity, Lyngstad points first and foremost to the timeless quality of the group’s music. ”

The fact that the success has continued is of course incredible and fantastic,” she said. “First of all I think it is because of the music. I have understood throughout the years that our music is very efficient music.

Second I think it is also because of a lot of great artists who have performed our songs after us. They have brought our songs back to the charts after many years. And of course the Mamma Mia! musical.”
